Drawing inspiration from traditional Ladakhi architecture and craftsmanship, the resort offers an intimate experience in handcrafted villas set amid orchards and Himalayan landscapes, combining luxury with a profound respect for the environment and a sense of place.

The Ask
The client wanted a website that clearly shows Dolkhar’s core values: transparency, sustainability, and a strong connection to nature. The brief asked for a clean, minimal design that highlights both the stunning landscapes and the carefully designed interiors, while making it easy for visitors to explore the site.
The Design
The design focused on openness and simplicity, allowing images and stories to share the resort’s values. Plenty of whitespace, simple fonts, and a minimal colour palette let the landscapes and interiors stand out, matching Dolkhar’s calm and nature-focused approach. Editorial touches helped show both the beauty of the place and its thoughtful, sustainable philosophy. For this site, we chose an unusual navigation style to encourage a sense of discovery for users.

The result is a calm and welcoming online experience that reflects the resort itself.
